Friends

The things she said, they were all so sweet.

But now it’s all gone, not a single word more.

Most of them were lies, was it?

Most of them were truth, wasn't it?

Friends oh friends, where have they all gone?

Friends who always say that they will be there?

Sometimes they mean shit, but what do they mean?

For when you need them, they were never there.

A friend once told me, when I asked where are her friends?

She said when she’s really in trouble, no one really comes.

That I never believed cause friends she had plenty.

I guess I'm not the only one; the world was never fair.
